Only a short drive from Geneva, Samoëns is a picturesque medieval alpine village which is the only ski village to be listed in the French National Office of Historic monuments The town is part of the Grand Massif ski area offering a wide variety of skiing with fantastic panoramic views of Mont-Blanc. The five resorts of the Grand Massif are linked by 265km of pistes with 78 lifts, three snow parks as well as restaurants and bars galore offering all kinds of regional specialties.
The chalet is five minutes walk from the village centre which offers shops, restaurants, bars and mini-markets. The ski bus stops near the chalet. It’s a quick three minute drive to the Grand Massif ski lift if you have a car. In the summer, the area becomes a haven for those seeking stunning panoramic views including waterfalls, wildlife, fauna and flora. For energetic visitors in the summer there’s mounting walking, golf, cycling, swimming, parapenting - the list is exhausting and offers plenty of fun and relaxation for all!
